When you walk through the doors at Professional Hearing Services you will be greeted with an enhanced patient experience!  We pride ourselves in providing the highest level of professional patient care and customer service in a warm, comfortable, state of the art setting!

While you wait for your appointment you can treat yourself to a cup of coffee from our gourmet coffee bar, enjoy a warm cookie fresh out of the oven, relax on the sofa in front of the fire, pet our furry practice mascot (Reno), test out a variety of Assistive listening devices, catch up on recent news, view local art, or take in a good television show! 

In our newly expanded office, patients will also be able to visit our old fashioned soda bar and take advantage of our Virtual Theatre where you can see how hearing aids are made, watch a movie, or play a virtual game of golf, tennis, or bowling with our new Nintendo Wii gaming system!!!!  With so much fun in the office, our patients have a habit of stopping by just to visit!!

All testing is completed by highly trained Doctors of Audiology using state of the art equipment.  At Professional Hearing Services we utilize virtual reality demonstrations to provide the patient with the easiest transition from the test situation to the real world.

In addition to diagnostic testing and hearing aid services, Professional Hearing Services also offers a variety of Assistive Listening Devices, custom earmolds for IPod earphones or Bluetooth headsets, custom hearing protection, Loop Systems, specialized hearing protection for musicians and hunters,

We also offer a hearing aid lab that is always available for walk-in appointments.  All of our patient’s have the convenience of stopping by the lab at their convenience to see our wonderful staff of audiology assistants for hearing aid cleanings, minor repairs and adjustments, and earwax removal.

Professional Hearing Services was founded in 1983 by audiologist, Dr. Gyl Kasewurm.  The office has grown from a small practice to one of the most successful audiology practices in the country. 

Professional Hearing Services and Dr. Kasewurm have been recognized for their exceptional service through many awards including:

• The “Best Audiology Private Practice” by ADVANCE for Audiologists’ in 2005
• Dr. Kasewurm was recognized by her peers at the 2007 American Academy of Audiology Conference as an Academy Honoree.
• Dr. Kasewurm was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year by the Southwest Michigan Cornerstone Alliance and Chamber of Commerce in 2004.
• Dr. Kasewurm’s practice concept for Professional Hearing Services was chosen for second place in the 2005 New York University Business Plan Competition.
